In VITEEE with 35k rank you'll only be able to get civil in the main campuses like vellore and chennai as the chances of CSE,ECE and mechanical are very low or almost 0 as predicted by the college predictor but you might get ECE or Mechanical if there will be availability of seats but that you need to wait for furthur rounds of councelling and as I told you the chances are very less but you might get these branches in the new campus of VITs 

In KIITEE, I think 2800 rank will able to give you CSE or ECE so it depends upon you wether you decide to go for yor desired branch or to go with the college, If you want CSE or ECE you may go to KIIT but if CSE isn't your priority I suggest you to go fir VIT as it's placement records are much better than KIIT.

as you compared for 2 colleges as based on viteee rank you dont get top branches with your rank but when you go through kiitee rank you are eligible to get all branches what ever you want
