According to your question i am considering you have got 435 marks out of 500 and you want to take admission in nits or IITs.

I would like to tell you that this year the 75% criteria is not applicable for taking admission into nits,you just have to score passing marks but for iit it's needed.

You need not worry as you are safe and you are absolutely top 20 percentile.
