               Sorry, according to your results you are not eligible for Thapar.

THAPAR institute of engineering eligibility criteria :

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 80% marks (75% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate of three subjects- Mathematics, Physics, and any one subject out of Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational subject and Chemistry.

I'm sorry to tell you that you can't get admission with 56% in Thapar as the eligibility criteria there is aggregate of 80% and 75% for SC/ST category.

But still you can try for any other colleges. Moreover, it also depends on your JEE score if you are appling in other colleges also.
