A call from IIM is very volatile in nature

There are people with 85 percentile who got calls from IIM Ahmedabad and also people with 99 percentile who didn't

But for that, you have to score really high in CAT(99+ percentile for the old IIMs; 96+ percentile for the new IIMs) to be considered by the top colleges for their respective admission processes. Once you clear the cutoff of these IIMs, you also have to perform well in the interview rounds to get shortlisted for the final admission. The interviewers may even ask you about your lower scores, which you need to answer with valid reasons.



So, stop thinking about your past academic scores and focus on scoring well in the CAT exam.
