Since you have cleared your board exam and you are not happy with your marks then you can attempt the improvement exam which will take place in the month of august 2021. But as per your question one cannot give the present years improvement exam in the following year. I would like to suggest that if you are not happy with your percentage and time is not an issue then you can drop one year to re-attempt your 12th exam from any other recognized board. In that case if you work hard it will definitely improve your marks.
