If you are from cbse board then you are not elligible , you are not getting seat in nit or IIIT with your Jee rank . It if you are from other board then have to check that you are in under 20 percentile of that board or not . If you are in top 20 percentile in their respective board then you can get admission in NIT .

I am sorry to tell you but you can't get a seat in any Nit, no matter how much marks you get in jee as you have got only 72 % marks in your boards but dear its compulsory to score at least 75 % marks or more in boards to get admission in nit /iit.
So unluckily you can not get nit.
