The cutoff trends changes every year and it depends on the number of students appearing in the examination, difficulty level, number if available seats, etc. Getting a CSE or CSE with any specialisation is very hard these days as it has huge demand.

For open state quota previous (2017) closing rank for CSE was 1813. So there aren't much chances according to this. You can try applying for other branches in their other campuses. You can check all options with AEEE here -
