As per the previous year cutoffs you have a tough chance of getting Medium ranked NITs,even if you get it in later rounds you might en up getting the lower branches.
You can get so e seats of good branches in some lower ranked NITs such as NIT Patna, nit Uttarakhand, NIT Hamirpur, NITs from North-east,etc.
