Get IIT collages you must score more than your cutoff marks atleast. Yes, you can get iit if your a SC category student, try on IIT BHU(Ceramic ,Civi,metallurgy, pharmaceutical,biochemical,); IIT bhubneswar(mechanical dual degree); IIT Guwahati(biotech, chemical,civil). You secured 2417 that is not enough for good branches like cse and IT. IIT have preparatory course if you want apply you can but it will take 5 years(engg. prep. 1yr +4 yr is your branch time period).

Well you will definitely get an IIT , at such rank you can get nearly any IIT you want, I can't say about the branch coz that changes every year according to the cutoff.
