Mat scores lies between 200 to 800.

If your composite score is 396.50 and its showing below 11.40 percentile than it means that your percentile in your mat exam is 11.40

At this score you might get some average colleges but I'll suggest you to reappear in the exam again and find some top institutions otherwise you want to take admission this year itself, you might get some colleges at this score.
