If you have not been allotted a college in the 1st round of MCC counselling and you do not wish to participate further, then your caution deposit will be refunded automatically by MCC after the counselling process is over. You don’t need to apply separately, but make sure the same bank account details given at the time of registration are active. The refund usually gets credited within a few weeks after the completion of all counselling rounds.
Hello
If you didn’t get any college allotment in the first round of MCC counseling and don’t want to participate in the second round, you can choose to withdraw from the counseling process. To get your caution money deposit back, you’ll usually need to officially surrender your seat (even if it wasn’t allotted) through the MCC portal or the counseling authority’s procedure, following their refund rules. Make sure to check the refund guidelines carefully and complete any required formalities within the given deadline to avoid losing your deposit.
