The national testing agency has released the eligibility criteria on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The eligibility criteria for jee mains is as follows:-

• Students should have passed their qualifying examination (12th class) in the year 2021,2022 and students who are appearing in class 12th in the year 2023 ,they are also eligible.
• Students should pass with 75% in physics , chemistry, mathematics.

Don't worry about your 10th passing year, what all matters is 12th passing year as far as jee main & jee advanced are concerned

With 12th appearing year as 2023 , you will be eligible for jee advanced 2023 and 2024 only.

This is because,

One has a total of two attempts for JEE advanced over two consecutive years starting from the year of appearing for 12th board examination i. e as per , eligibility criteria one is eligible for JEE advanced examination only in the year in which he or she appears for 12th board examination and the next year following it.

So, with 12 th appearing year as 2023

• you will be eligible for jee advanced 2023 and

• you will be eligible for jee advanced 2024 only.

If I tell you about Jee main then,

One can give JEE Mains entrance examination for a maximum of 3 consecutive years starting from the year of passing 12th board examination.

Now, your 12th passing year as 2023

So,  you

• will be eligible for jee main 2023

• Will be eligible for jee main 2024

• will be eligible for jee main 2025 as well .
