I have passed 11th with non-medical . But now I'm doing 12th with medical . Am i eligible for conducting NEET exam in comming years ?

Hello Aspirant,

See you must have passed from PCB stream from class 12th if you want to appear for NEET because Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English are subjects must to have in class 12th for NEET. Now you must not have read the syllabus of Biology class 11th so you have to read it separately. Because NEET syllabus consists of class 11th syllabus as well.

Now you have to pass your class 12th/PUC with Physics, Biology and Chemistry as mandatory subjects minimum aggregate of 50% in PCB if you belongs to Unreserved category, 40% if from OBC/SC/ST and 45% if you have PwD certificate.

Also there is no upper age limit for NEET but there is minimum age limit for NEET which is 17 years which means that if you want to appear for NEET 2021 the you must have completed your 17 years on December 31st 2021, if all above eligibility criteria are fulfilled by you then you can appear for NEET UG 2021.

Dear Abhishek,

As you said you are your 12th with medical stream that means you have kept Biology as one of the subject so there will be no hurdle for you sit in the NEET examination in coming years.

Below I am enlisting the qualification required for NEET examination.

  • The student must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board that is accepted by NEET administration.

  • Class 12th appearing students with same above mentioned education criteria are also eligible to sit in the examination of NEET.
