Only those candidates who were born on or after 1st October 1997, are eligible to apply in JEE Advanced 2021. SC/ST/PWD category students are provided with a relaxation of 5 years.

In order to appear for JEE Advanced 2021, students are first required to clear the JEE Main 2021 examination.
Only those students who are among the top 2,50,000 rank holders in JEE Main 2021 are eligible for appearing in JEE Advanced 2021.
Qualified candidates will be offered admissions in B.tech, B.Arch., B.S programs etc. in various IITs and other prestigious engineering colleges across India.
Online applications for the examination will be available in the month of May 2021 for the JEE advanced 2021.

NTA has provided 3 attempts for every individual. NTA conducts JEE mains exam two times a year. One is during January and other is during April. After completion of mains it conducts advance.
So in the given time or gap between exams you can prepare well and appear her advance.
