I have passed senior secondary exam in 2024 with 71 percent.Then took a drop and appeared for 2025 improvement exam but die to health issues only attained a imrovemet to 73.2 percnet. Took a second drop and thinking of taking an additional sub in 2026 icbse exam to get 75 percent .Wil it be valid ?

Yes, you can take an additional subject in ICSE/ISC to try and boost your percentage. Boards usually allow extra subjects, but only part of the marks may count toward your overall score. Your previous attempts won’t invalidate this, as only the best attempt is considered. You must register through your school for the 2026 exam. Make sure to check the official ICSE/ISC rules for eligibility and mark calculation. This way, improving to 75% is possible if the extra subject marks are enough.

Thank you Mam,but after yesterday notice by cbse the option of additional sub is not present in private form.What can I do can I refer to nios ode exam ?
