Hello.

IIT JAM Eligibility Criteriamandates candidates to hold aBachelors Degree. Candidates belonging to General/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) category must haveat least 55% aggregatein Bachelors. The marks secured include all the subjects studied at the graduation level, without rounding off the marks.

Candidates belonging from SC/ST category are required to obtain at least 50% aggregate marks, without rounding off.

In case of grading system/CGPA, the equivalence in percentage of marks will be decided by the Admitting Institute.

Candidates who are pursuing the qualifying examination have to submit the proof of passing the qualifying examination to the admitted institute by September 30, 2019.

There is no restriction in the upper age limit for JAM.

For General/OBC (NCL) category the minimum marks will be55 percent marks or 5.5 out of 10 aggregatein languages and subsidiaries of all the years combined.

Candidates belonging to the SC/ST and PwD categoriesmust have secured 50 percent or 5.0 out of 10 aggregate.

So thereis no restriction for it maths you need a overall percentile.

Hope this is helpful.

Good luck.
