I have RE in Btech 1st sem can we apply for UPSC civil service exam.Can I eligible for it.

Hi Vivek,

Yes,you can..as the eligibity criteria for appearing in IAS exam will be,

(i) A degree of any of the University incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of parliament or declared to be a deemed university under the UGC Act, 1956,or, an equivalent Qualification.

(ii) For General Category Students, age limit is 32 years and  number of attempts is 6.

For OBC Category Students, age limit is 35 years and  number of attempts is 9.

For General Category Students, age limit is 37 years and  number of attempts is no limit.

but... before that you have to clear your 1st semester in B.tech.
