Tamil Nadu has around 985 BDS seats offered by Government and Private colleges. In the year 2018, for the score 289, BDS admission in Self-financing colleges were available. This year, despite the prediction of cutoff to increase, there is a possibility of getting into a self-financing college in government quota. This means that the fee might be under your budget limits (i.e., 2 lakhs/annum). Do not lose hope, and apply for BDS self financing counselling.
