Hi Harleen,

480 is a dicey score and until and unless you don't have any quota (OBC/PWD/SC/ST) then I would say that you have slim chance to get a government MBBS College though you may get government dental college.

You may get a seat if you belong to the reserved category but the chances are very low if you are from the unreserved category. For getting into any government medical college, you should have a score of 550+ in NEET. Also, the competition for those seats in government colleges is very very high, so yes 550+ is the minimum requirement. But depending upon your category it may be variable. If you belong to SC/ST it should be 450+ or else it is 550+.
