Hello Kamal Kishore! 

For Computer Science and Engineering branch you have to target lower NITs/IIITs with your score. Like NIT AGARTALA, NIT SHILLONG,etc.

You won't get seat in the beginning rounds of counselling. You have to wait till the ending of counselling process.

Hey Kamal.

See the marks u have scored is not enough for u to bag a seat in the good NITs for pushing ur higher studies in btech but u can get some seat in the lower NITs under ur ST category. U can opt for NIT MIZORAM , NIT SRINAGAR , NIT SILCHAR ,etc.

In 70 marks your ST rank would be around 10,000. It would be very difficult for you to get admission in Software Engineering in any NIT.

Hii Kamal.Your marks are little less As per the previous year cutoffs and the fact that you belong from ST category you can get lower ranked NITs for CSE.You can get NITs from North-east and some NITs such as NIT Patna, NIT Hamirpur, NIT Uttarakhand,etc.You might not get it initially but you have to wait for final rounds.All the best.
