Hello Ishita Nagpal,

Though the cutoff varies every year but with your common merit rank your chances of getting B.FTech in any NIFT is tough. The maximum closing rank for general for B.FTech in NIFT Kangra in 2016 was 523.

Some of the other NIFTs along with their previous years cutoffs:

Kannur- 881
Patna- 721
Bhubaneswar- 688
Jodhpur- 582
Chennai- 575

BBecause when I contacted the nift office today they said around the common merit of 2705 is been done and my counseling will be done in the 2nd week of July
