As per previous year trends, the lowest score which got admission in NIT through JAM score in Chemistry under General category was 33.72. The admission was given in NIT Sikkim. So, considering previous year trends, it seems unlikely that with a score of 26.67 you will get admission in Chemistry in NIT. However, you should note that the closing ranks and scores vary every year depending upon the number of aspirants, difficulty level of exam and varied other factors. So, participate in the counselling in all the JAM admitting institutes or institutes accepting JAM score, including IITs, IISERs, NITs and IIScB, to know the final results of counselling.
