With your rank in JEE Mains, it would be hard for you to get a seat in government Engineering colleges like NITs IIITs and GFTIs. As you are from OBC category, you might get some benefits by getting some non core branches in the newer NITs and GFTIs. You can get branches like food Technology, textile engineering, biomedical engineering, mining, mettalurgy.
So please go for all the rounds of. JOSAA counseling and also the CSAB spot round so as to further increase your chances of getting a seat.
