Vivek, according to Persons with Disabilities Act, you are entitled for PWD reservation if the visual impairment is equal to or less than 40%. And PWD is a horizontal reservation which means for example if you belong to OBC Category and you qualify under PWD act, you will be entitled to OBC-PWD reservation. And if your visual impairment is more than 40%, then you are not eligible for PWD reservation but will be eligible for OBC reservation and should you get a seat under OBC, you can take admission in the Medical College. Now you haven't mentioned how low is your vision because your District Medical College has to give you the PWD assessment. And after counselling, if ou get a seat under PWD quota, you have to get assessed by a team of doctors at any of the Disability Assessment Centers for authenticity.
