You should have done it as per the format provided by the official so I would suggest you to drop a mail to them regarding the same in case they dont accept it then you can make changes when the correction window is open. But to keep yourself in a safer side better to inform them through mail.

After completing the process of filling application form.....you will get a confirmation mail from iit guwahati after 3-4 days or a week....if your details and uploaded documents are right then they will mail  you that you application form accepted if details and uploaded documents are not right then they will give you a chance to correct it.
