Check whether if the correction window for the current JEE attempt allow you to make changes to the EWS section or not. If it allows you to make changes, you can do so but if it is not giving you this opportunity then you can just produce you new EWS certificate while counseling only. But make sure that in any of these case, only the validity period has been changed not the other details in EWS and do preserve your previous EWS certificate.
