You seems to have decent chance of getting NITs with 90 score in SC category this year as this year JEE MAINS will be of only 300 marks.So you have chance..But try to score 100+ score out of 300 marks..

On the basis of the information you stated that you have scored 90 marks in JEE Mains and you belong to SC category. Your general rank will fall around between 90000 to 95000. And your category rank will be near about 3000 to 3500.

Now not only your marks matters, but your class 12 marks also matters in deciding your rank in JEE Mains. And now talking about colleges, if you have secured a rank between 3000 to 3500 then you will get many good NITs. You can get NIT Kurukshetra, NIT Jalandhar etc. In getting a good college and a good branch, your home state also matters, if you choose a nit in your home state, with this rank you can even get a good branch too. But if opt for other sate NITs then it will be tough to get CSE branch but you will definitely end up with mechanical or civil branch.

There are chances to get seat but low chances .You can take admission in lower nits through this score.
You rank will be quite low but according to your category you can fix your seat .you can also apply for csab special round counselling in that you have more chances to get a seat in any one of nit.
