Hello

First of all let me clear that ECE is a branch of physics in which you have to study varieties of subject like basic electronics, signal and system etc..So if you are not good in physics then you will not face any problem because these subjects are totally different from what you studied in school..

Although you have to study physics-1 and physics-2 in 1st year of Btech(as per AKTU syllabus) but they are very simple…and you can score good marks because they are mostly theoretical..

From 2nd year you will study your core SUBJECT related to your branch and they are quite interesting..

ECE has a number of specializations. Different schools will have different amounts of freedom and options for these. Each specialization has its own challenges, some deal with phsyics.

Generally, you have to take physics your first year. If you can struggle though that you could be golden. However, you should be able to do math, programming, and circuits. All specializations will involve math, programming, and circuits.

Thankyou, I hope it helps, feel free to approach for further queries

Hello Prabhat.

Good to hear that your maths is good it is really going to help you for sure. The reason is that you are going to face maths in three semesters while physics is only in first semester. Now as far as this branch electronics is concerned it is a very good branch having maximum application of physics in the form of chapter like semiconductor control system and microprocessor.

Ok good luck

Hope it will help you.

You will have engineering mathematics and engineering physics only in the first year of your course. Most of the physics syllabus consists mathematics, numerical problems. And the rest theory part has physics concepts like electromagnetic theory, quantum mechanics, solid state physics, optics etc. If you study well, practice all the numerical problems on a daily basis you'll definitely be able to get good marks.
