Hello,
It's better not to mention in your resume. Why to mention anything which you haven't completed and it won't contribute to your career in anyway.
If any one for what you did for 2.5 years then you can say at that time that I pursued other but I left as I got this to pursue. Justify yourself why you did that in a sensible way such that it won't make a fool out of you because it is like if you had to left then why you joined and wasted your time which will bring bad impression.
So think Accordingly and write it in your resume.
