The first and only University accredited programme, the PGDEMS programme conducted by the SIHS is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Ministry of HRD, Govt. Of India.

The Curriculum and its implementation are recognized by the Los Angeles Paramedic Training Institute and Department of Transportation, USA.

Unique programme pedagogy consisting of ten months of weekend training (Saturday @ 8 hours, including theory & Practical) + 2 months of supervised hospital rotation.

Symbiosis is the only Institute in the country today with an International Training Centre (ITC) status of the American Heart Association (AHA) and a “Chapter” status of the International Trauma Life Support Organization, USA. The BLS, ACLS, PALS and ITLS modules are included as an integral part of the PGDEMS Programme. Conducted as per the International Programme Guidelines (IPG) of the AHA and the ITLS International, USA, the certifications of these programmes are therefore internationally accepted.
