Generally it means that this Certificate is valid from year 2020-2021. But the validity of an EWS (Economically Weaker Section) is generally one year from the date of issue and that means if you Certificate has been issued on April 27th, 2021 then it is valid upto March 31st, 2022. You can your EWS Certificate to avail 10 percent reservation facility in High education institution as well as in government jobs.
