One thing you need to understand that if you have appeared in counselling and at the time time of counselling registration process if you have registered yourself with general category then at any round you can not chnge your caste in the entire process. You are only eligible to change your college preference, courses.

But if you have already registered yourself with some reservation category then the allotment of seats will be according to your caste category.
