hello mansi, yes ofcourse you are eligible because to fulfill the AIIMS MBBS 2018 eligibility criteria, the candidate must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. The minimum aggregate of the marks General and OBC candidates need to have scored in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in their Class 12 or HSC examination must be 60%.

Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OPH category should have scored a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in these four subjects in their Class 12 or HSC examination. hope this helps, good luck

Mansi hopefully you have seen last 10 years pattern of questions in chemistry, noted the important topics, if you will note its only 7-8 chapters carrying 70-80 % questions... So you should focus on them more.. Try to solve more MCQS with understanding each option why it is correct or not.. That will help... Make a smart time table.. Its around 140 days for NEET, so plan accordingly
Best of luck

If you have gone through the eligibility criteria for the minimum marks needed for every category in class 12 boards, it is very clearly specified that minimum marks that are required by a GENERAL CATEGORY candidate is 50% aggregate in PCB and English. For OBC/SC /ST CATEGORY candidates it is 40% and for PWD it is 45%.
Hence, regardless of your category you're eligible to apply for NEET-UG examination.

Hello
The Medical Council of India specifies that you must be getting 50% in aggregate and each of physics, chemistry and Biology and that is sufficient for you to be eligible for counselling in NEET if you get the appropriate marks in the Neet examination which is a minimum of 50th percentile do for better colleges you need marks in excess of 450 to 500 out of 720 ideally
If you belong to the categories of reservation then this Percentage required in boards will be 40%
So as you say you have got somewhere around 79% you are thoroughly eligible for the examination of Neet
Prepare yourself well so that you can get maximum output of the 720 marks and get a rank decent enough to feature and one of the best colleges of your state or the nation
thank you

Hey hi,

Only 50% is enough to give NEET in general category. For others even low.

So You can surely give.

All the best...
