It depends on your school or university, But for Home Science practical, Students are expected to complete all assignments( like 10). You wrote 8 Practical , it may affect your marks but if your practical have some unique and best concept, then it is possible that teacher give you satisfied marks.
but most boards still expect the full number of practicals (usually 10).

If you have submitted an incomplete Home Science Practical file it could affect your overall marks in that subjects , but it will not cause you to fail the entire practical exam , it is highly unlikely or rare that completing eight practicals will lead to a failing grade , but yes it will surely affect your academic marks in that subject.
