Hi dear I hope you are doing well.you will give the JEE Mains examination as you get a 3 chance to sit in a JEE Mains but you may not sit in JEE advanced examination
As  you passed class 10 in 2016 in class 12 in 2020.There was gap period of 2 years between your class 10 and class XI .you will give JEE advanced two times in your life
In class 12 and 2nd chance was at dropout. For giving the JEE advanced examination .They also consider the gap between class 10 and class 12..That's why you not give the JEE advanced examination ..As you mentioned that you will give the board examination in this year 2020 so you must be curiosity to get a JEE advanced . As  it is your first attempt as you will pass 12  examination in 2020 .According to the survey the board also keep consideration between date class 10 and 12th gap period .so I hope this will help..you must have work hard to get a good seat in NIT .Best of Lak for upcoming April JEE Mains examination. Good luck

Dear Aspirant!

No need to worry! Since you will be completing your 12th standard in 2020 you are eligible for JEE ADVANCED.

But there are other eligibility criteria which you should clear like;

1. You need to qualify JEE MAINS in 2020 below 224000 rank

2. You should have born after 1993 ( 5 year relaxation for reserved categories)

3. Should have secured 75% in 12th board or any equivalent exam(65% in case you belong to reserved category)

For further details on JEE ADVANCED eligibility criteria please do visit the link provided below;
