you need to get an aggregate of each of 50% in your physics, chemistry and biology at your + 2 level 8 class 12 board examinations to be held eligible for filling up the form as well as appearing for the rounds of verification and counselling in the neet examination so science you did not have biology but had biotechnology you are not eligible for the examination

The answer for your question is no. Because NEET is for medical students who are preparing to study MBBS mostly and in medical biology is an important subject. NEET is not only to appear for MBBS but there are other fields too like BDS and many. If you would have taken PCMB then you would have been able to give NEET. As you have taken PCM you can gve JEE.Uptil now there is no updates for biotechnology as an suplimentary subject for Biology. So dear you can't apply NEET/AAIMS.

Dear Nidhi, for AIIMS, students should have passed Class 12 under the 10+2 scheme/senior school certificate examination (CBSE) or Intermediate Science or an equivalent examination from a recognised University/Board from any state with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the main subject Or Candidates who have or are appearing at the qualifying examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology and expect to pass the examination are eligible. Biotechnology is not an option for AIIMS.

For NEET, you should have had atleast 50% aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects. So for NEET, Biotechnology is allowed. I hope you filled in the NEET UG form because the last day for NEET applications is over and it hasn't been extended.

Dear Nidhi, For AIIMS,  The candidate applying must have completed 17 years of age on or before December 31, 2019. No candidate should be born on or after January 2, 2000 will be eligible to apply for AIIMS 2019. And regarding taking up Biology as an additional subject, it will be too late. The last date for Basic Registration for AIIMS 2019 is January 3rd, 2019.
