Hello,
In order to become an IPS you will have to crack UPSC civil services examination.The eligibility for UPSC is Minimum qualification which is that The candidate must hold a graduate degree from Government recognized Universities or possess an equivalent qualification. Candidates who are in their final year or awaiting results are also eligible to appear for UPSC preliminary Examination.
Since you have completed your 12th so now you have to enroll yourself in a graduation course in any field and meanwhile you can also prepare for upsc at the same time.
