Well yes you can apply for neet if you've passed 12th from nios. The eligibility criteria for appearing is 50%aggregate marks for general category and yes you should have PCB stream for your 12th.So yes if you score good in neet exam you can surely get into good govt medical college.

Hello there ,

Hope you are doing well . I'll list the eligibility criteria to appear in NEET for you below :

  • Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board.

  • Class 12 or equivalent appearing aspirants are also eligible to apply for NEET.

  • The class 12 percentage required for NEET 2022 exam is separate for each category and can be listed as under. NEET eligibility marks in class 12 to be considered are aggregate marks only for PCB subjects

    • UR - 50%,

    • OBC/SC/ST - 40%,

    • PWD - 45%

If you fulfill the above given criteria, you are absolutely eligible to appear in NEET and take admission into your desired colleges if you qualify the exam . You mentioned that you did your standard 12th from NIOS . If the aggregate of your scores in PCB is 50% out of the total marks for the subjects ,you are eligible to appear in NEET .

Hope my answer helped.
