you don't need to worry if you have passed class 12 in 2019 and you want to apply for engineering college in 2020 you just need to give some Engineering entrance examination and if you qualify the cut offs, you are eligible for getting a seat in engineering colleges all you need to do is to get a gap year certificate or affidavit from  your college which will be of rupees 50 approximately .At the time of counselling you will be required to submit the gap year certificate and there will be no other issues .
