What we understand from what you have written is that you lack discipline.  Meaning you adore to do many things but lack the will power to implement.  The real reason is that you find these tasks to be rather painful and so you keep putting them off.  The brain will never want to do anything that causes pain and studies is one of them. In order to get out of this cycle, we can suggest the Pomo doro Method.

In the Pomo dora method, you concentrate for just 25 minutes at a time to your studies and then take a few minutes break. Then come back for another 25 minutes, after that another small break.  This way we can break down that big problem of yours into smaller but manageable ones.  If you practice for a week, then your subconscious mind will start to push you to start studying in earnest.

Also it is very important to exercise as exercise also releases Dopa mine, which is a feel good chemical and help builds better neural structures. Lastly when studying a difficult chapter and if it becomes difficult to understand – don’t break your head, do some exercise and then come back to tackle it.

In short, take small steps to achieve your real goal.

Good Luck!

Hey there

majority students have the same issue and thus do not panic i will recommend you to do following things for less distraction

1. Try meditation. Trust me its the best way your mind will be calm and relaxed you won't go for any other things like netflix.

2. JEE is a tough exam just focus on your exam the distraction you are getting is because of the exam pressure and thus i recommend you to take small break after every 1-2 hours of study.

3. Since you are in class 12 study englis litrature when feel bored or any other literature except PCM it will be relaxing.

4. Try to focus on studies because its the most precious time of your life. its a lockdown do utilize the time

good luck

You need to have motivation, motivated to achieve your dream, to live your dream. Because the more you sacrifice today, the more happiness you'll get in the future, if you get your desired college and perhaps the desired stream for working. Motivate yourself, just tell yourself that today's sacrifice will pay me off tomorrow and once these exams are done I'll surely have a short vacation in which you can enjoy more thoroughly without any stress. This time won't come back so you need to get very much focused and devoted. The happiness you get after scoring good marks in competitive exams is much much more than watching Netflix and chilling out trust me. So get determined, get motivated, have your aim, start from today and just keep studying and once the exams are done, do enjoy well heartfully.

Best wishes. Thankyou.
