The cutoffs for NITs are yet to be declared so it is not possible to ensure about whether you will get admission in NITs or not.
But yes NITs the cutoff is high generally so if you are planning to appear in april session i would suggest that you try to score higher than your january session score.
For knowing the NIT cutoffs you need to wait for the official announcements to be made.

On the basis of the rank only the cutoff for the College is decided.
