Well, 40 is a bit too less. At this point, I advise you to pause and rethink if you really want to pursue engineering. If you really want, work a little more, take a decent branch like mechanical or civil engineering in some decent college and give your best to it. Else, try to find your interest and try to move in that direction. No course is bad, so whatever you get, receive it and give your best in it.
