Following are the subject wise list of books you can use to prepare for NIMCET -

• Upkars MCA Test By A Team of Experts
• Arihant MCA Entrance Test (Self Study Guide) By Amit M. Agarwal
• Mathematics General Aptitude Books By R.S.Agarwal.
• Barron's Military Flight Aptitude Tests By Terry L. Duran
• The Aptitude Test Workbook By Jim Barrett
• Numerical Ability & Mathematical Aptitude By Dr. A.B. Rao

Get any book that contains previous year solved papers of Nimcet, JNU MCA and solve them by your own. For clearing Nimcet you need to be good in maths so practice maths as much as possible. Block your study hours during those times of the day when you think you are the most productive & can concentrate better. Block more time for the more difficult subject. Do not procrastinate, the tasks assigned for today must not be pushed to tomorrow.

For preparation of Nimcet examination, you should focus mainly on the subjects like Maths, Logical reasoning, computer awareness and English as questions will come from this subjects only. NCERT books help you a lot for preparation of maths. It clears your concept and helps you with the important questions. Apart from NCERT, you can also read RD sharma for detailed information as well as RS Aggarwal. For further information about calculus, trigonometry and probability you can refer ML Khanna book also.

Logical reasoning section comprises of 40 questions and you can refer these books for this section :

Barron's Military flight aptitude Tests by Terry L. Duran

Quantitative aptitude by RS Aggarwal

For computer, you can refer Computer fundamentals by Pradeep K. Sinha.

And for English, the best thing you can do is to read the editorial section of Hindi or English newspaper daily.
