There is lot of scope for Mechanical Engineering in India as well as in abroad. Nitte Karkala has good placement opportunities for Mechanical Engineering.

Students who complete mechanical engineering have a plethora of opportunities in the areas of aerospace, automobile, chemical manufacturing plants, railway coach factory, oil exploration, research and development, among others.

shayandsouza yeah you are right you give right information but the news I heard is many students from top universities and get top ranks after completion of mechanical engineering they don't get job offer in engineering,why is that so????you are confirmed what there is a chance or good scope of getting job after completion of mechanical engineering?????is there any ray of hope that we may get job offers in abroad also????
