Hi Bumang,

Yes, you can take computer science engineering through JEE Mains. There is no concern about previous computer classes, it doesn't matter.

hello Bumang Nangba!

First of all let me clear that you need not worry about whether you took computer subject in your 11th and 12th or not as the some students who come from state board wont even have an option of choosing computers in 11th and 12th. If you had choosen computers in your 11th and 12th then you will be having some idea about coding which makes easy for you to understand what is being taught further.

Coming to JEE, its nowhere related that if you dont pass jee mains then you cant take CSE and if you pass you can. YOU CAN STILL TAKE COMPUTERS IF YOU PASS IN JEE. when you join IIT or some other university you will again be taught the basics of programming. Everything is going to start as a fresh, you wont be feeling anything like you are behind and everyone knows all about programming like that.

so dont think about anything. Just focus on your subject and goal you yourself will learn everything!

All the best!

Hello,

Yes, you can take after clearing the IIT JEE Exam.

You just need to score more than the cut off marks required by the institute you are applying for.

For eg, if you are choosing B.Tech. in Computer Science then, you have to score more than the cut off marks required for it.

Cut off marks varies with different Institutes. So, choose as per your score.

Best of Luck!
