Hello student. In wbjee councelling, for the domicile certificate, aadhar card would not be sufficient as it just mere serves as an address proof. Domicile certificate indicates that you are the citizen of that particular place for 10 or 15 years. you can obtain it from one of these offices. Sub division, revenue department, office of district colllector etc

Aadhar card is not a valid prrof of Domicile. It is a valid id proof for Address and Nationality. So unfortunately your Aadhar card cannot suffice as your Domicile Certificate. There is a different Domicile Certificate that is given to everyone who has applied for that and it has a Domicile number which should be provided where required. Aadhar number doesn't work as a Domicile number. If you do not have a Domicile certificate, you can get it from the Head of the Institution from where you have passed your 12th. Such certificates are issued on the basis of the records available at the Institution that you have completed your 12th from.
