The most opted courses for a career in finance are CA,CS,CPA, ICWA etc . Other general undergraduate courses related to finance are BCom or BBA in accounting and finance. The first set of courses are professional courses for top profile finance jobs in India, they mostly will not be accepted in other countries , because their finance laws and standards might be different in your case in US you may have clear CPA US exam or any other equivalent based on the job demands  , hence you should either do finance certification courses or finance major degrees from US to get a desired job there . Or you can finish BCom or economics degrees followed by MBA in Finance from a good /top B-school which can give you placements in US companies. Or you can even join a US based finance company in India upon completion of any of the above mentioned course ,work there for a while and side by side do finance certifications as required by the American branch and gain a transfer. You need to develop several other professional skills and communication skills before trying for a New York company. You can also make use of job searching platforms like Linkedin , follow US based companies see their job vacancies , read their job descriptions to get ideas, connect with HRs who are recruiting for US firms , remember networking is very important especially since you want to get a job abroad.
