BAU Ranchi provides B.Sc (H) in Agricultural and Forestry programmes with different specializations. The university also offers Honours courses in Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry as well.

Students with science background with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) can opt for any particular major subject from Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry and Forestry, while students with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) can apply only for agriculture and forestry.

The total number of seats present for B.Sc (H) Agriculture is 50. For B.Sc (H) Forestry the university has a total of 26 seats across the four subjects it offers.
