See - if you wish to take admissions in NITs, IIITs, then you need to apply through CCMT which is one application for all of the NITs and IIITs for a common counselling. For the IITs, you have to apply separately and then check for the offer letters through COAP. For private universities or state ones which take through GATE, you have to apply again separately.
