Bater Palan is actually a technique which is the process of rearing Quail(A kind of bird). This bird is easy to rear and can be reared in any weather conditions, the rate of growth of these kinds of birds is fast like in 30-35 days it weighs 250gms and its meat is much better than that of a hen. Even it is sold at 40 per bird and 8-10 quails can be reared in an area where 2 hens can be kept.
